A blog about the lives of a classical homeschooling family, in the idyllic Wet Coast, err, West Coast, of British Columbia. Oh, I know, it doesn't ALWAYS rain...it just seems like it.

The Snow Is Rising
Here's a picture looking out my bedroom window not 2 minutes ago. And we apparently set a record yesterday: Coldest Day on Record (- 10.5ºC).
LOL...I love it when you comment on your own posts. That sounds BRRR freezing cold. It's 61F here and I'm already shivering. I'm thinking really wimpy thoughts right now. Sending you virtual warm hugs!
Rebecca, I wish I could remember WHY it's blue. I didn't do anything that I remember...and it IS cold, isn't it? Horrible. By the way, you had 24 photos for us to inspect. TWENTY FOUR. Isn't that a lot?
Thank you Suji. I am sending me virtual hot baths. The kids are thrilled and I am feeling overwhelmed with the cold. Blah. As for me commenting on my posts, well, I'm only copying Richard, who comments on my posts while under Other Names. He creates aliases. Fortunately I can always recognize them (he's very shallow with his aliases).
I have a friend in Sacramento and it sounds as though you are getting warmer weather than she is. Consider yourself lucky. How's the - sob - pool? I might have to invade your house one summer, you know, you lucky girl.
- 10.5 deg is the highs (the highs!!) we were having during the past week. I am looking forward to the promise of 0 deg for the next little while, which should feel downright balmy.
Gorgeous photo by the way. Love the blue! It looks like a winter postcard.

Oh you big wimp. It's just a bit of cold.
It's so blue! Beautiful.
And you are not a wimp. I nearly froze to death putting gas in the car on Tuesday. Windchill city!
