A blog about the lives of a classical homeschooling family, in the idyllic Wet Coast, err, West Coast, of British Columbia. Oh, I know, it doesn't ALWAYS rain...it just seems like it.

What If...?
Here's a movie Max made for an animation class. It's based on the premise "what if?" Max did an extrapolation using the Greeks as his example: What if the Greeks had never existed?
Well done I'd say, from a homeschooling mamma in Texas. I'm a bit of a history buff myself. My two dd's are way too young to have these kind of assignments but I will keep this in mind for future reference. :-)
Thankyou, Texas mum! It's a fun way to be learning history, isn't it? Have you seen They Might Be Giants doing We're The Mesopotamians? Google it on YouTube.

That's cute! I'd love a homeschool animation class for my kids - a bit younger, though.
I just realised yesterday that your Max and my Kell are in the SAME animation class. Cool, huh!
Thanks, Jennifer! Well, we started small: camera and iMovie. Come to think of it, we're STILL in the small phase, lol.
Nicola, I only noticed it because I saw his last name! He seems a nice sensible sort.Is he enjoying the class?
