In Which I View Something That Might Have FDPG & I Watching Glee After All

In another life I used to love watching all these award shows, but lately I've gotten to the point where I just check out certain gossip sites after the fact. Which is where I saw this. And maybe it's my knee melting weakness for this particular song, or maybe it's nostalgia plain and simple, but the opening segment for Sunday night's Emmy show, in my opinion, rocked. I might have to start watching Mad Men after this...

We've got Season 1 on order... for family viewing. G caught some episodes while in D.C. and can't stop laughing when he tells me about them. That's got to be a good sign.

Mad Men is fantastic, btw. I LOVE Jon Hamm. But I think I've already said that elsewhere. ;)

OMG, I think I love Jon Hamm too. He can twirl around on my clothes rack anytime.

It IS Hurley! The Singin' & Dancin' Hurl!

That was great!

I've heard good things about Glee but never heard anything about Mad Men. Was Jon the guy dancing for Betty White?

Hurley rocks!

Thanks for this! We didn't get the Emmys on either of our two channels (thanks, CTV and CBC...). I had no idea Jon Hamm could do that, what a hoot. Though I have to admit there were a few people in there I didn't recognize, given our peasant-y TV situation!

I discovered Mad Men and Glee on airplanes, and thanks to the library am fairly well caught up on MM, which is terrific. We are waiting for Glee, the first season and various soundtracks, from the the library.

I keep going back and forth on whether I'll let the kids, either the eldest or all three, watch. I know they'd love it, but some it from what I recall in April isn't entirely appropriate for 13 and under, sigh. Though I guess that's what fast forwarding is for nowadays : ).

Yes. Jon was dancing for Betty White.

And no one, absolutely NO ONE, wears a suit like Jon can. And he looks great without one, too.

Apparently he's hosted some SNL and is a pretty funny guy. Who knew?

And he has a normal looking wife. Like Hugh Jackman. I love that.

BTW, dibs on the clothes rack twirl, Sheila darling.

Thanks so much for posting that. I also used to watch all the awards show, but now that we don't do cable I never watch anymore either. Just catch up on youtube. Huge Glee fan!
Blessings

Sheila, you made my day--thank you! I can't imagine you wouldn't love Glee if you liked that number. : )
